This restaurant in Cabo San Lucas looks like a place that would be featured on Netflix’s “Chef’s Table.” You can practically hear the violin-heavy theme song when looking at their dishes, featuring gastronomic delicacies that sparkle, bubble, smoke and shine. If the chef is offering a tasting menu the night you go, we highly recommend you take advantage of it. The place is also called Mezcal, so it would be a sin to not imbibe in one of their featured artisanal cocktails like the Xilonen “Mexican Goddess of Subsistence”—a smoky Aperol-scented margarita. They also offer experiences like mixology classes, tequila tastings and cooking classes. And if you do end up bringing a little or two, they have a children’s menu that’s bound to please your picky eaters.
